Jean Garcia (born as Jessica Maitim, August 22, 1969) is a Filipina television and film actress, who hails from Angeles City, Pampanga.

Jean Garcia was born as (Rosario Maitim), the eldest of five (she has two younger brothers from her father's marriage to her mom, and three younger half-brothers from her father's second family). She attended Trinity College of Quezon City until she was discovered in a noon time show Kalatog Pinggan.She has two children namely, Jennica with actor Jigo Garcia,who also attended Trinity College of Quezon City. and Kotaro with a Japanese businessman.
Despite making waves in the industry since she was in her teens, it seems that Jean Garcia never loses her youthful glow.
She has a friend named Chiqquie (Junemuel Sanglay)who introduced her to a producer Mother Lily Monteverde before appeared in numerous "telenovelas" (soap operas) and movies. She started her acting career at the age of 13 but managed to relatively keep her privacy.
Her most famous role was in the teleserye Pangako sa 'Yo where played antagonist Madam Claudia Buenavista. She also starred in the first musical fantaserye (fantasy/soap opera) Kampanerang Kuba, and the cooking show Makuha Ka Sa Tikim. She has moved to ABS-CBN's rival network GMA Network and she played supporting and villainous roles in primetime shows like La Vendetta, Impostora, Majika and others. She is recently in GMA 7's newest telefantasya, Dyesebel. She played Abresia in Gagambino.
She is recently FHM Philippines October 2008 covergirl. Garcia is set to play Sister Maria Belonia in Shake, Rattle & Roll X, which is MMFF (Metro Manila Film Festival) entry
After Gagambino, she appeared in All About Eve where she worked with Sunshine Dizon, Iza Calzado, Richard Gomez and Eula Valdez.
She is confirmed that she will join the cast of the witchcraft series Ilumina for The GMA. And now she will join the cast of Alakdana.
Jean Garcia with her daughter Jennica & her family were saved from floods at the height of the Typhoon "Ondoy" on September 26, 2009. This is their second time that their house was flooded since their first house was flooded in 2003.
